Meridiam is looking to fill its intern position within the ESG and Sustainability Team.

Your missions:

  • Support for the implementation of Meridiam's Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) / Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) / Climate Change tools
    • Support for the update and application of the online ESG/SDG questionnaire for portfolio companies
    • Participating in the analysis of data from the ESG/SDG questionnaire for the preparation of various reports
    • Response to the ESG questionnaires of Meridiam's investors
    • Support for the follow-up of certain projects (to be identified upon arrival)
      • Reading of environmental and social (E&S) studies and preparation of summaries as needed
      • Participation in the follow-up of E&S consultants' work
      • Research on ESG, SDG and climate change issues
      • Preparation of various presentation documents and general communication support on these topics

Job requirements

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Finance or Business Management or equivalent, ideally final year of study and with a focus on ESG

Clear interest in ESG, sustainability and climate change-related matters in project finance, expressed through specific courses and/or previous internship experiences

• Entrepreneurial, demonstrated capacity to work, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly new topics

• Excellent written and oral communications skills in French and English

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively

• Ability to interact with colleagues in a self-managed team structure

• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and multitask in a fast-paced environment
