Job description

As an International HR Manager, you will lead a team of 2 HR professionals (1 HR Coordinator & 1 Payroll expert) and you will lead the HR administrative & payroll operations for all our offices. Your HR generalist profile will allow you to be positioned as a Business Partner and contribute to the HR Strategic deployment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

·         Payroll:

o    Supervise the payroll operations in France and in our foreign offices

o    Control & validate monthly payroll with a strict and meticulous methodology

o    Ensure continuous improvement, compliance, accuracy and efficiency of payroll production and processes

o    Act as a back-up to produce payroll in the absence of the Payroll Specialist

 

·         HR Administration:

o    Lead & manage HR administrative operations within the Meridiam office and for the project companies’ Key asset people, taking into consideration local regulations and specificities

o    Pilot the HR administrative operations in optimizing internal processes, operating systems, tools, trackers, etc.

o    Work closely with the local HR relays in the Meridiam offices for administrative related matters

o    In France, manage relations with social institutions (health & life insurances, social security, labor medicine, retirement institutions, etc.)

o    In our foreign offices, lead our external consultancy providers to supervise employee lifecycle (social institutions of top of supervising payroll)

o    Guarantee labor compliance (through updating employment contract templates, employee handbooks and internal rules, and regular & structured social watch)

o    Supervise employee’s international mobility (contributions, affiliations, payroll, impatriation, etc.)

o    Manage HR audits and potential labor inspections and any other governmental request in France & in our foreign offices

 

·         Team Management

Management of the HR administrative team (1 HR Coordinator & 1 Payroll Manager), accompany their level of autonomy & professional development

·         HR Generalist & project management

o    Lead or contribute to HR development projects (HRIS implementation, On-Off boarding reshape, Strategic Workforce Planning, People Development, etc.

o    Act as an advisor to employees & managers in sharing with them best practices and HR processes

o    Communicate on a regular basis internally on new internal practices or labor law changes

 

·         HR reporting

o    Supervision of HR reporting (absenteeism, timesheets, remuneration statements, annual report, etc.)

o    Work closely with the HR Data analyst to ensure a 100% HR data accuracy

Job requirements

·         Education: Business School or Master degree preferably in Human Resources

·         Experience:

o    7 to 10 years’ proven experience as HR Manager or similar role, at international level, with a strong managerial experience

o    Good knowledge of French Labour Law, good knowledge in any of our foreign offices is a plus

o    Payroll experience in France (other countries is a plus), in using ADP Decidium

o    Strong HRIS expertise (daily use + implementation experience)

·         Fluent in English & French, knowledge of another language would be an asset

·         Tools:

o    ADP Decidium expertise is a must 

o    HRIS expertise (Core HR maintenance, imports / exports, On-Off boarding module, etc.)

o    Microsoft 365, with expertise of SharePoint & Excel

·         Technical & soft skills required:

o    Strong team spirit, experience working in matrix/complex/fast-paced environments and international settings

o    Experience working with international payroll service providers and managing relationships with external vendors

o    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex situations

o    Collaborative and collective approach, capable to work in a “knowledge sharing” mode and act as a key team player
