Who we are

The Meridiam Green Impact Growth Fund (GIGF) is the private equity fund of Meridiam, dedicated to supporting exceptional fast-growing European SMEs with significant positive impact on the ecological transition. We typically invest €5-30m per transaction, as minority or majority shareholders.

Today, we are a team of 8 investment professionals, deeply convinced that companies leading the ecological transition will also be the leaders of tomorrow's economy. We target companies with proven business models and strong management teams. Beyond financial performance, we monitor our portfolio companies’ impact performance over time, and actively support them on operational, financial and ESG dimensions.

 

Role & key responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Analyst Intern within the Paris office of Meridiam.

As part of the GIGF team, you will play an integral role in deploying the fund’s capital and strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the forefront of the ecological transition ecosystem as part of an experienced and determined investment team.

 

Your main tasks, with the help and support of team members, will include:

  • Assessing investment opportunities across all dimensions (market analysis, strategy, HR, financial modeling, legal, IT…)

  • Preparing supporting materials (legal documentation, internal and external memos, Investment Committee notes…)

  • Assisting with external interviews and participating in management presentations

  • Ensuring smooth execution of deal flow processes and middle-office activities

Job requirements

Job skills & qualifications

  • Top tier academic background in Finance / Business, or Engineering

  • Completing a professional gap year (“année de césure”) as part of a Master’s program or equivalent

  • Previous internship experience in Tier 1 investment banking (M&A / project finance), private equity / venture capital, transaction services or management consulting firms

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and team spirit

  • Financial modelling skills are a plus

  • Fluency in English and French

Type of contract: internship (“convention de stage”)

Start date: July 2026

Duration: 6 months
