Who we are
The Meridiam Green Impact Growth Fund (GIGF) is the private equity fund of Meridiam, dedicated to supporting exceptional fast-growing European SMEs with significant positive impact on the ecological transition. We typically invest €5-30m per transaction, as minority or majority shareholders.
Today, we are a team of 8 investment professionals, deeply convinced that companies leading the ecological transition will also be the leaders of tomorrow's economy. We target companies with proven business models and strong management teams. Beyond financial performance, we monitor our portfolio companies’ impact performance over time, and actively support them on operational, financial and ESG dimensions.
Role & key responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Investment Analyst Intern within the Paris office of Meridiam with a dual focus:
Investment activities (approx. 3/4 of the role)
Applied AI initiatives (approx. 1/4 of the role)
As part of the GIGF team, you will play an integral role in deploying the fund’s capital and strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the forefront of the ecological transition ecosystem as part of an experienced and determined investment team while contributing to the integration of AI tools into our investment processes.
Your main tasks, with the help and support of team members, will include:
Investment-related:
Assessing investment opportunities in all their dimensions (market analysis, strategy, HR, financial modelling, legal, IT…)
Preparation of various supporting materials (legal material, internal and external memos, Investment Committee notes…)
Preparation of external interviews and participation in management presentations
Vouching for optimal execution of deal flow processes and middle office activities of the fund.
AI-related:
Contributing to initiatives aimed at integrating AI into sourcing, investment analysis, asset management and reporting
Supporting the development of prompt libraries and deployment of AI agents
Exploring productivity-enhancing tools and workflows, with autonomy to investigate and propose solutions

Job requirements
Top tier academic background in Finance / Business, or Engineering
Completing a professional gap year (“année de césure”) as part of a Master’s program or equivalent
Previous internship experience in Tier 1 investment banking (M&A / project finance), private equity / venture capital, transaction services or management consulting firms
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and team spirit
Demonstrated interest and/or experience in applied AI (e.g., AI agents, automation, product management projects) are a plus
Fluency in English and French
Type of contract: internship (“convention de stage”)
Start date: January 2027
Duration: 6 months
